Pastor Norm and Pastor Barb have been pastoring the Hope church in Gaylord for years. They both love working and playing in Northern Michigan. “We have some of the best people in the world,” Pastor Norm has said many times. Norm has been married to his beautiful wife Barb for 48 years (they married young) and continues to grow closer each day. They have raised four boys and now have ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Pastor Barb's goal is not just to reach people for Jesus, but to see them discipled, as well! She loves the people of the Hope Church and has a blast working with them in the ministry. She believes that it is essential to be real and to share how the gospel has affected her. She is passionate to see people set free from a life of sin and loving God!

Pastor Roger and his wife Mary love the Lord and have been married for over 30 years. Their ministry together is worshipping the King of kings and Lord of lords. They love to lead the body of Christ in song and in worship. Pastor Roger loves to fish in his spare time and likes catching fish even better, especially when he out-fishes Pastor Norm (lol).

Melinda’s heart is for our society’s youth, and she has a passion for helping them encounter God and teaching them how to live for the Lord in their everyday life! An inspirational verse is 1 Timothy 4:12 (NIV), “Don’t let anyone look down on you because of your youth, but set an example for the believer in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity.”

Pastor Austin has a heart for kids and a big mission: he’s here to help them build a strong foundation in faith while having an awesome time! He believes every kid can be a follower of Jesus, and he’s excited to make that journey something they’ll look forward to every week. His goal? To help kids grow in their relationship with God through fun, hands-on activities, and inspiring lessons. With Pastor Austin, your child will grow spiritually and be part of a church that’s all about Jesus, friendships, and lots of fun!

Sarah Oberlin has a passion for kids and can't wait to help make them a generation that is on fire for the Lord. She not only loves to teach kids but also strives to make sure that they not only know who the Lord is but wants them to have a genuine relationship with Him.
